Hypnosis is a powerful therapeutic approach that allows access to internal resources through the unconscious, releases emotions, modifies thought patterns, and promotes a general state of well-being. However, therapeutic hypnosis is only effective when the individual is fully committed to working towards their own change.

Why hypnosis?

Everyone is receptive to hypnosis, as it is a natural state we already experience daily (daydreaming, intense concentration, etc.). The use of hypnosis in therapy offers several advantages that make it an effective approach for treating various psychological and emotional issues.
Indeed, hypnosis allows access to deeper levels of the mind, the unconscious, facilitating the exploration of repressed thoughts, emotions, and memories. This can help identify underlying causes of emotional or behavioral problems.

Hypnosis also helps release negative emotions that may be stored in the body, enabling individuals to process traumas or difficult experiences in a healthier way. It offers the possibility to modify limiting beliefs and negative thought patterns. By using positive suggestions during the hypnotic state, the therapist can help the client adopt more constructive perspectives.

Hypnosis is also used to manage chronic pain. It helps alter the perception of pain, providing relief to individuals suffering from painful conditions. Furthermore, by promoting a state of heightened concentration, hypnosis can be beneficial for improving performance in various areas, such as sports, studies, or artistic performances.

My services

The consulting room: a comfortable armchair in front of a small bookcase, a floral carpet and plants brighten up the room.

As a specialist in anxiety disorders and emotional management, I provide support to address blockages, anxieties, fears, emotional shocks, traumas, burnout, grief, and much more.

I am also trained in perinatal hypnosis and support you from the desire to conceive through to the post-delivery period: anxieties, emotional and pain management, self-confidence, sleep, self-hypnosis, postpartum management, etc.
I use the most suitable techniques with the aim of avoiding the reactivation of negative automatic emotions and behaviors.

My approach is personalized and designed to meet the specific needs of each individual.

The Process

I guide the patient into a modified state of consciousness, where unconscious resources can be explored and mobilized to resolve issues and overcome obstacles. My work helps to reveal abilities or potentials that are not immediately visible or accessible, fostering positive change and personal development.

Whether in person or via video call, the average duration of a session is about one hour.
This timeframe is crucial to ensure a thorough consultation, and consequently, an effective experience for the patient.

Sessions can be conducted while seated or standing, and I actively interact with the patient throughout the process.
The duration of the consultation naturally depends on the reason for seeking help. Generally, it is advisable to plan for between 5 and 10 sessions for simpler issues. However, some follow-ups may extend over a longer period, especially when the requests are varied or deeply rooted in a complex set of behaviors.

I am completely bilingual and can conduct sessions in French or English.

The price for a session is 80 euros.

Techniques used

illutration technique hypnose

Ericksonian Hypnosis

Ericksonian hypnosis is a therapeutic method developed by psychiatrist and psychologist Milton H. Erickson. This approach differs from other methods due to its flexibility, adaptability, and collaboration between the therapist and the patient. It uses indirect suggestions and metaphors to activate unconscious resources and encourage positive change. It recognizes the subjectivity of each individual. Instead of viewing the therapist as a superior authority, this approach promotes collaboration and co-creation between the therapist and the patient. It acknowledges the uniqueness of each individual and fosters autonomy and self-confidence.

illutration technique EMDR

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is an effective therapeutic approach primarily used to treat trauma. It is based on the idea that traumatic memories are not properly integrated into memory. During a session, the practitioner helps the patient relive difficult memories while using bilateral stimulation movements.
EMDR allows for the release of blocked emotions and the reprogramming of negative thought patterns, thus promoting rapid and lasting healing.

illutration technique EFT

EFT

Emotional Freedom Techniques, is an alternative healing method that combines psychology and acupressure. It involves "tapping" on specific points of the body, similar to those used in acupuncture.
This technique aims to release negative emotions and restore the body's energetic balance by tapping on acupressure points while focusing on an emotional or physical issue.

I am a certified hypnotherapist from ARCHE, the Academy of Research and Knowledge in Ericksonian Hypnosis,
the only school in France that offers training combining technical excellence and personal ethics.

Séverine Bouchet - Mindful Therapist

I created my hypnosis practice to support and help individuals assert their needs and values to gain confidence, performance, and well-being.

I began my professional career over 20 years ago in asset management in London, before moving into strategy consulting at a large international firm in Paris. Passionate about psychology, I have undertaken numerous training courses in various disciplines over the years to deepen my understanding of human beings.
I have personally experienced hypnosis and found this approach fascinating, with quick and effective results. This led me to transition into brief therapies, with hypnosis emerging as an obvious choice.
As a single mother of two preteens, I have faced the challenge of juggling a demanding job within a large international organization while raising my daughters alone and embarking on a career change.
I have made my experience a mission: to help you transform your challenges into opportunities, overcome your obstacles, and thrive, even in the most difficult times.
